Discover how you can promote your brand to thousands of readers every month on The Diary Of A Jewellery Lover blog.
My blog is a luxury lifestyle, travel and fashion blog aimed at ladies who like the nice things in life. My readers are 80% women from the UK, USA and Europe aged 30 to 50 plus who love luxury, travel, food and fashion.
Mr W. and I
What I Blog About
My main passion is travel, I just adore visiting new cities, and different countries, and exploring new cultures. I love the UK, Europe and the USA especially but I am open to exploring new places. Great architecture inspires me, as well as the local cuisine. Invite me to your country, hotel or attraction for fabulous coverage.
Eating out is a hobby of mine, from simple local cafes to Michelin-starred restaurants, as long as the food is prepared well and lovingly cooked I will eat it. My mission is to have afternoon tea in all the major cities in the world. I also adore reviewing food tours and have reviewed food tours in Iceland, New York, and Spain.
I have a background in I.T. and I owned a jewellery shop for several years, I also used to be a mental health nurse and I am a trained teacher - all this has given me a wealth of life experiences.
I blog with integrity and clearly identify promotional or sponsored content. If you wish to send me something to review then I would love to keep it for my time and effort. I am very positive but also truthful and good at constructive criticism. I do charge for sponsored posts but think my prices are excellent for the quality of the posts and the access to my followers it brings. I share my posts on all my social media channels.

Press Trips
A selection of press trips and accommodation reviews
Come To Hamburg
In Spring 2017 I visited Hamburg with the Come To Hamburg scheme. My goal was to entice and intrigue readers and make them want to go to Hamburg. I produced more than double the blog and social content required on both The Diary Of A Jewellery Lover and Fly Drive Explore and we have been invited back to cover Hamburg at Christmas.
Tourism Castellón
In July 2017 I was invited by the Castellón tourist board with a group of Bristol bloggers on a press trip to the area. Social content included Instagram stories, Instagram posts, Facebook posts, and tweets. My tweets over the two months prior to the trip, during the trip and post-trip created 6.3 million impressions on Twitter! I created blog content on PeñÃscola, Morella and Benicà ssim as well as content on Fly Drive Explore. Check out #InCastellon on social media to see our updates.
Visit Antwerp
I was invited to Antwerp to cover the city being the world's diamond centre since 1447. Did you know about 80% of all the diamonds in the world go through Antwerp? The social content was provided pre-trip, post-trip and during the trip. Read what I thought about Antwerp - the city of diamonds, in my two-part post. I also reviewed a gorgeous luxury boutique hotel, Hotel Franq.
Visit Aruba
Visit Aruba UK invited me to the Caribbean in 2018 to experience all that Aruba has to offer. The content created included a video on Aruba, One Happy Island, a blog post on top things to do in Aruba, a review of the Hilton Aruba and there is more still to come. The Hilton was delighted with my review and social media postings including 8 Instagram posts, Instagram stories, and Facebook and Twitter posts.
Food and Drink Wales
Food and Drink Wales invited me to cover the food producers in the South and West of Wales on a press trip in July 2018. I learned so much on the trip, such as the fact that there are over 30 vineyards in Wales. Social media posts, a blog on Exploring Welsh Food and Drink, and a video in conjunction with my other blog Fly Drive Explore, helped raise the profile of Welsh food locally and further afield.
Qatar Airways and Cardiff Airport
I worked with Qatar Airways to promote its new route from Cardiff Airport to Doha in 2018. Coverage included a review of their business class flight, as well as a post on what to do in Doha Qatar in 48 hours. I also covered it on Fly Drive Explore, the blog I write with my husband, and we created videos on the flight review, Doha and The Four Seasons Hotel.
St Augustine Florida
In 2018 I worked with St Augustine Florida to promote the area to tourists. Coverage included a video and blog coverage on what to do in St Augustine Florida, including Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fort in the continental US, the Spanish military hospital and St Augustine lighthouse amongst other things.
The Great West Way
I worked with the Great West Way in 2019 to cover this touring route based on historic roads from Bristol to London in the UK. Coverage included social media as well as three blog posts covering day 1, day 2 and day 3 on The Diary Of A Jewellery Lover blog as well as a blog post and 3 videos on the Fly Drive Explore YouTube channel.
