So when I do my online shopping I always look for websites that offer something different. That's where the website Wanapix can help. This is an ad.

Wanapix sells a range of quality personalised gifts that your friends and family will love. Set up by Jesus and Eva in 1984, their photoshop was the place where all the locals took their camera film to be developed. What To Do If You Damage Your Fine Jewellery

Jewellery can mean lots of different things to different people. For some, it’s a sign of status or an important fashion accessory that complements the rest of the outfit. For others, its value is entirely sentimental – perhaps a reminder of a certain person, place or time in their lives.

necklace

No matter what your reasons for treasuring a piece are, it can be extremely upsetting if it becomes damaged. This could occur in a number of ways – for example, during daily activities like cleaning or exercising – and even through something as seemingly harmless as applying aftershave or perfume.

And if that does happen, it’s not always easy to know what to do about it. There are a few options available to you, depending on the piece and the extent of the damage. Here, we’ll run you through some of the things that you could try – and some of the things that you definitely shouldn’t.

Never try to repair anything yourself

Fixing jewellery is a precise, delicate skill and one which takes years of specialised training to master. If you try to carry out any repairs yourself, you run the risk of making things worse and even damaging the piece irrevocably. For that reason, it’s always worth taking any damaged item to a jeweller or repair shop, so that it can be looked at by a professional.

Check your insurance policy

If the piece has particular monetary or sentimental value, you may have had the foresight to take out a jewellery insurance policy. If so, it’s worth checking the terms and conditions of your documents to work out what is included and what isn’t. For example, you might be covered for repairs, replacements or compensation for any damages. If your collection is not currently insured, it might be worth taking out a policy to help protect yourself in the event of any future problems.

Repurpose any irreparable pieces

If the piece is no longer able to function in its current form, all may not be lost. You may be able to repurpose it into something else. For example, a stone from a damaged ring could be used to create a special necklace or bracelet, thus preserving the sentimentality attached to it.

Sell your item

If the damaged piece was not one of your favourites in the first place, you might decide that now is the perfect time to thin out your collection a little bit. The likes of Etsy and eBay can offer access to a huge audience, but it’s important to do your research into the market and get a few independent valuations before you decide to put anything up for sale. When you do, you must state that the piece is damaged so as not to mislead any potential buyers.

How To Plan A Honeymoon

A honeymoon is a special occasion in the life of a newlywed and, hopefully, you’ll only ever have one. With one chance to get it right, there may be anxiety to make sure it goes smoothly to give you the best start to married life that you could wish for.

honeymoon

I’ve got tips and pointers for planning the honeymoon of your dreams that you’ll remember forever.

Create a budget

It’s advisable to either incorporate your honeymoon budget into your wedding finances or to put the funds into a separate pot. Either way, you should ensure that you have funds that remain dedicated to the honeymoon so that you can afford the trip when you intend to go. Otherwise, you may find yourself needing to delay your honeymoon by a significant amount of time.

Remember to factor in essential additional costs on top of transport and accommodation. For example, you may need to get some vaccinations for safe travel or legal entry into a country.

Set expectations

When thinking about what kind of trip you could go on for your budget, you should be realistic about what is achievable with the amount of money that you’ve set aside.

You may want to go to as many places as you can in a certain amount of time, necessitating cheaper travel in each location. On the other hand, if you’d like to funnel your whole budget into one place, all-inclusive resorts are popular for their luxury offerings.

Pack appropriately

What you’ll need to pack and how much you’ll need to take will obviously depend on your location, length of trip, and time of year. Looking into any cultural expectations from a sartorial standpoint is a good idea, as you wouldn’t want to offend anyone with a wardrobe faux pas. Check the average weather forecast for the date of your trip to make sure you pack for the right conditions.

Likewise, you’re bound to want to feel and look your best on your honeymoon, so it’s a popular custom to get new nightwear for the occasion. Consider taking some red lingerie to help you feel confident and sexy for your new spouse.

Ask for help

If you’re planning a honeymoon with the traditional timing, it’s likely you’ll be leaving shortly after your wedding day.

However, this could mean that you’re obligated to plan your wedding and honeymoon simultaneously. As lovely as these events are, it’s incredibly stressful to deal with the pressure of organising both at the same time.

Your family and friends are there to support you and alleviate as much of the stress as possible. If you’ve reached the point of mental saturation, ask them to help you with booking or the decisions.

Alternatively, you could consult the professional services of a travel agent. Often, this involves communicating the basics of what you want and leaving it to them to sort out all the paperwork.

4 Ways To Keep Your Home Warm For Winter

Keeping your home warm and cosy during the winter can be challenging. The cold weather outside can make it even harder to stay comfortable inside, especially if your home has older heating systems and windows that aren't as energy-efficient as they could be.

Fortunately, there are a variety of ways you can keep your house nice and toasty during these chilly months. In this article, we'll look at the four ways you can keep your home warm for winter.

Buy Thick Curtains

curtains
First, let's talk about a simple yet effective way to keep your home warm; thick curtains. If your windows are letting in a lot of cold air, thick curtains can make a huge difference to the temperature in your house. Choose thick, warm curtains that will insulate your windows and keep the cold outside. Additionally, you can tuck the curtains behind your radiators to help the heat spread around the room. This can be a great, cost-effective way to make your home warmer with very little effort.

Invest In New UPVC Windows

New, energy-efficient windows are one of the most effective ways to keep your house warm in winter. If your windows are old and don't have good insulation, hiring a window company to replace them with energy-efficient UPVC windows will help prevent warm air from escaping through them. If your home has old windows and you need to keep things cosy this winter, investing in new UPVC windows is the way to go.

Upgrade Your Boiler

It may be time to replace your boiler if it is more than ten years old. Newer boilers often have energy-efficient settings that can help reduce your heating bills. You can even get boilers that are specially designed to be efficient while also keeping your home warm. Another option you might worth considering is an oil boiler, which can be a smart choice if you are looking to lower your electricity bills. You can purchase heating oil in bulk from companies like PayLessForOil to fuel your boiler. Other benefits of upgrading your boiler include increased safety and reliability. If your boiler breaks down in the middle of winter, it could cause a major disruption to your life. Replacing your old boiler with a newer, more reliable model will help prevent this from happening.

Put Heat Reflectors Behind Your Radiators

Another cool trick to improve the warmth of your home is to put heat reflectors behind your radiators. This can be a great way to make your radiators more efficient, as well as help to keep your home nice and warm. If you have old radiators in your home, you can use these heat reflectors to reflect the heat back towards the room without having to replace them. Newer radiators often have a built-in reflective lining, but you can retrofit older radiators by installing heat reflectors yourself.

Final Thoughts

Keeping your home warm is essential during the winter months. If you follow the tips in this article, you should be able to keep your home nice and warm without breaking the bank. From investing in new windows and upgrading your boiler to buying thick curtains and putting heat reflectors behind your radiators, there are lots of ways you can improve the warmth of your home.

How Hiring An Accountant Can Save You Money

Hiring an accountant may seem like an extravagance but hiring an accountant may be the best thing you could do if you are in business. Accountants compile your financial records, prepare them for the tax office and can help you save money, so the cost of hiring an accountant can balance out.

calculator
Let's have a look at how hiring an accountant can save you money practically.

1. Accountants are specialists

Accountants are specialists in their area. They know all the intricacies of tax, they know what IR35 means, whether you are a limited company, partnership, or sole trader.  You may think that doing your tax records yourself may save you money but it may cost you money if you get your tax wrong. So an accountant can prevent you from getting fined by the tax office and file your records in a timely manner. I would say it's always worth hiring an accountant but especially so if you are a new business, the turnover is large or your accounts are complicated.

2. They can offer you advice

Accountants are great at offering you advice. They know what tax breaks you can have, what you can put down as legitimate expenses, and some of these you may not be aware of. They can explain how having a company car works, how much of your phone bill you can book down to the business and what tools of the trade means. In addition, they can advise you on financial decisions such as which supplier or business partner would be beneficial. An accountant can examine a company credit rating to ensure you minimize the risk of any financial losses. These are just some of the ways in which they can save you money.

3. They free up your valuable time

If you don't know what you are doing with your tax records then it can take a long time to prepare your records and it can take a lot of knowledge. This frees up time you can spend on other valuable things like marketing and selling. Utilising the services of experienced Accountants Penrith (or elsewhere more relevant) frees up your valuable time so you can work on other aspects of the business. Time is also money as they say. An accountant can do your tax records in a fraction of the time it would take you.

4. They can help you grow your business and make money

Accountants can analyse your books, and see what is selling well for you and what is not. They can also look at your profit margins and help you adjust them. They can also help you look at gaps in the local and national markets and look at how and where you can expand.  By doing this you can grow your business.

5. They can advise you on loans and other types of funding

Accountants can advise you on start-up loans, government loans, private loans, grants, and other types of funding that are available. They can advise on the best rates of interest thus saving you money. They can help you organise and prepare a business plan you can take to loan providers, which is especially useful for a start-up or when expanding your business.

So these are some ways in which hiring an accountant can save you money. So if you are in business it's a business expense that is definitely worth it!

How To Look After Your Jewellery

There’s nothing more special than getting a piece of new jewellery. Whether it’s fine or costume jewellery, there’s always some sentimental reason behind each piece that’ll make you want to wear it forever - and keep it looking as good as when it first landed in your lap. Here are some quick tips for how to look after your jewellery and prevent it from scratches, tarnishes, and dullness:

Store your jewellery correctly

Avoid misplacing your jewellery by creating a dedicated space to store them. For smaller pieces like rings and delicate bracelets, jewellery boxes make the perfect storage unit. While necklace stands or rests are great for heavier pieces. It’s also advisable to store your jewellery at room temperature and somewhere with low humidity and to store diamond necklaces separately as diamonds can scratch other diamonds and gemstones.

Regularly clean your jewellery

The best way to keep your jewellery looking as good as when you first got it is to regularly clean it. It’s recommended that you clean your jewellery (especially rings) at least once a month. Since different pieces require different cleaning processes, polish your gold jewellery with a soft cloth, and use a silver cleaning cloth for any two-tone jewellery. Most importantly, never use any household chemicals as these can be abrasive and damage your pieces.

Take care where you wear your jewellery

It might be tempting to wear your jewellery everywhere you go, but avoiding putting it on in certain circumstances will massively elongate its lifespan. Never go swimming or to a spa with jewellery, especially in the case of chlorinated water! Since titanium is the only metal that can withstand chlorine, it’s best practice to just always remove your jewellery before taking a dip. You should also take off your jewellery before showering, as even plain water can cause gemstones to come loose and metal to lose its lustre!

Keep your jewellery out of direct sunlight

Did you know prolonged exposure to light and heat can impact the colour and durability of many gemstones? That’s why it’s essential to protect your jewellery by storing it out of direct sunlight. When you’re not wearing it, be sure to store your favourite pieces in a cool, dark place completely out of the way of the sun.

Utilise professionals from time to time

While looking after your jewellery yourself is always a sure-fire way to keep it looking good, sometimes it's also beneficial to let a professional take a look as well. Not only can they fix common problems like inspecting knots, checking prongs and replacing too-small hook and clasp pieces, but they can also give you more advice on how to take better care of your pieces that you can then use at home.

With these quick and easy tips for keeping jewellery pieces looking as good as new, you can continue wearing your favourite jewels and gems for many years to come.

5 Ways Teachers Can Use Technology

Of course, it's important for children to be computer literate these days as computers are everywhere, and teachers can use technology in many ways these days, whether they are teaching in a classroom or online. Parents can also use technology to help with homework or homeschooling.

The Benefits Of Technology

interactive whiteboard

Traditionally schools often relied on book-based learning and lectures. This can be boring if not taught well. Technology can be a useful way to make learning fun and interactive. Technology can take into account different learning styles easily, such as visual, auditory, verbal, logical and kinesthetic. Immersion into technology can help children retain information and that can only be a good thing. It goes without saying that computers are needed in a modern classroom but let's look at some of the other ways teachers can use technology.

1. Video conferencing platforms

Video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Skype and GoToMeeting are perfect for teaching remotely. Many of these platforms are also free.  Zoom is a popular platform and gained many loyal followers during the lockdown when many people had to work from home. It also offers a whiteboard where teams can plan and learn. These video conferencing platforms are great for teaching online, so you can teach from anywhere in the world.

2. Screen recorders

Teachers may require a screen recorder for online classes and meetings. A screen recorder is great for teachers to record whole lessons and meetings or parts to play back later in case a student or colleague has missed it.  Movavi does a Windows 11 screen recorder to capture from a webcam, take screenshots, make screencasts and more. It has an easy-to-use interface, can record audio and easily share videos.

3. Virtual Reality headsets

Virtual Reality (VR) headsets can be a very immersive form of teaching. Virtual environments can be seen in 360 degrees. For example, an app like Anatomyou lets you become part of the anatomy of a person in an immersive way. Studies have shown that using VR as part of a learning environment helps students retain information more than a traditional lecture.

4. Interactive Whiteboards

Do you remember blackboards? Well, so
me classrooms have replaced them with interactive whiteboards now, especially for information technology lessons.  It is connected to a computer screen using a digital projector.  The teacher can interact with the content on the board, and write on it with a variety of tools, including using their finger, bringing up internet searches and more. It is a great learning tool for students as depending on what software is used it can address almost all learning styles, especially if the teacher encourages the student to interact with it.

5. Creative Apps and websites

Online quizzes, virtual games or simulations, and presentation software like Powerpoint or Canva can all be used by the teacher to help engage students. Encouraging students to create their own podcasts, create a digital book with Apple Pages, or create a digital comic with Adobe Sketch or Storybook That, is a great way to encourage creativity. Of course, teaching students about how to use the internet for research goes without saying and some top websites include the BBC Bitesize, National Geographic Kids and TEDEd.

So these are 5 ways teachers can use technology whether teaching in a classroom or online. There are many more ways too. Using technology to teach can be exciting, immersive and interactive and can help students retain information. It can also teach them to use technological hardware, software and the internet and these are important skills for future job prospects.

Modern Lounge Chair - Where Comfort Meets Style

A lounge chair offers more than just a place to unwind, unwind, and rest. It also adds decorative and aesthetic appeal. Think about the lounge chair's function while selecting one. Do you want a comfy spot to relax and read a book? A place where friends may gather around the coffee table and have a cup of tea? Or maybe an object that brings a surprising aspect to the room? Once you've determined the chair's function, you may choose the design that complements your interior the most. Learn how to select the ideal modern lounge chair for your house in this post.

Things to consider

The definition of luxury, beauty, and rest is a lounge chair. With the right upkeep and care, they are incredibly comfortable and durable. The best modern lounge chairs usually offer two main benefits. In your living area, it serves as a decorative item that allows you to make a strong impression. Additionally, it provides you with a cosy place where you may unwind and find peace at the end of a long working day.

Reduce the number of furniture items in a tiny room to provide more space.

Darker woods and colours may provide drama and presence to larger areas. Lighter-coloured furniture and matching decor can provide the appearance of greater space in smaller spaces.

Think about the lounge chair's design and how it will best serve its intended purposes. While more horizontally oriented loungers offer flexibility and more peaceful sitting, high backs provide seclusion in a living area and good head and neck support. When positioned in the middle of a space, design-focused objects will provide extra flare.

How to choose the size

It's crucial to keep the sofa's and chair`s dimensions and height in mind. You don't want the chair to overshadow the sofa, neither you want the sofa to dwarf the accent of a chair. The secret is to balance the room's appearance by combining furniture dimensions.

When deciding on the appropriate size and placement of lounge chairs, take into account the following factors. If your living room is already outfitted with an L-shaped couch (or a sectional with a chaise), adding a recliner will likely overwhelm the room and obstruct the space. An L-shaped sectional might look better with a sleek armchair or side chair. In contrast, a lounge chair would be more suited to balance out a sofa and create an aesthetically appealing seating arrangement. If you have enough space, you may set up a matching set of armchairs across from your sofa to promote face-to-face interaction.

Germany's Top Breweries

As a travel destination, Germany is known for many things including its architecture, its castles and historical sites, the rich culture of food and music, and its beer.

Beer Is Part Of The Culture

Oktoberfest

Beer is a big part of German culture, you only have to think of Oktoberfest, the annual beer festival in Munich to realise that. Oktoberfest has over 6 million people visiting every year to partake in the beer and the food, see the parades and visit the carnival.

Did you know that after Ireland, Germany is the second largest consumer of beer in the world? Of course, Germany exports a lot of beer too and this is partly due to the exceptional quality of beer. The German Purity Laws state that only water, hops and malt should be the ingredients and beer not exclusively using barley malt like wheat beer should be top-fermented.

Types Of German Beer

There are many types of German beer, over 7000 they say but the most popular is Pilsner, a light golden beer. Regarding ales, Germany is famous for its wheat beer too. However, there are many other beers including Rauchbier a smoked beer, Schwarzbier, a dark beer which is similar to Guinness and Starkbier, a full-bodied beer with a higher alcohol content than traditional beer.

Top Breweries In Germany

brewery

There are many top breweries in Germany, so here in no particular order are some of my favourites.

Hofbrau Munich

Hofbrau Munich brews its beer on the outskirts of the city of Munich for the famous chain of Hofbrauhaus taverns. It was founded in 1589 by Duke Wilhelm V and supplied the bavarian royal house with beer. The beer is also exported all around the world and it produces many steins of beer for Oktoberfest too. You can take a tour of the brewery and sample its unfiltered beer as well as a few snacks.

Weihenstephan Brewery

Weihenstephan Brewery in Freising claims to be the oldest still existing brewery in the world. Based in a monastery. monks brewed beer here from 1040 AD.  You can tour the brewery and see the brewing process and of course like all good tours end with a beer tasting.

Erdinger Munich

Erdinger Brewery based in Munich is the world's largest producer of wheat beer. One million bottles are produced every day in this brewery.  The recipes are very traditional but the plant is modern and has a high-tech bottling plant and warehouse. There is a visitor centre and a brewery tour and you can enjoy a drink in the beer garden.

Becks Brewery

One of the beers that are famous worldwide is Becks, brewed in the north of Germany in Bremen. Brewing beer since 1873 you can take a comprehensive tour of Becks Brewery and which includes a museum, shows you the raw materials that go into making the beer, inside the brewhouse, the science behind the fermentation, the laboratory and more.

if you are a beer enthusiast it is well worth visiting Germany and touring some of the many breweries. Let me know. Have you visited Germany? What's your favourite German beer?

A Guide To Picking The Right Necklace

Many of us chose the perfect outfit but discover that none of our jewellery seems to go with it. Perhaps you own a variety of necklace designs but are unsure which goes best with a given outfit. Choosing the right necklace for a specific outfit or neckline can be a challenge.

You must consider the shape of the exact neckline when selecting jewellery. Some necklaces don't go well with certain necklines. When selecting a necklace, keep the pendant in mind. The shape of the pendant can make or break your outfit. The necklace's length and width can also highlight a particular point.

woman wearing pendant

Choosing the right necklace for a specific outfit or neckline can be a challenge. If you stick to a few rules you can look smart and elegant. Check out brands like Two Feather Plugs that specialise in versatile and stylish jewellery pieces that effortlessly complement different styles and occasions, ensuring you always find the perfect match for your ensemble.

Here are some more tips to help you match your necklace with the most flattering neckline to enhance your appearance. This guide offers my top suggestions for matching your neckline and necklaces.

Strapless

Decide on shorter pendants. They'll maintain the focus on your collarbone and your outfit's neckline. Your neck may also look better with shorter pendants.  Layering necklaces can make a strong fashion statement when worn with a strapless top or dress. Layering necklaces might include a variety of pendants, with beads, charms, or other accessories. Changing the colour of the chains is another option if you're wearing several pendants.

Put on a princess necklace like a plumeria necklace. This will keep people looking at your shoulders. Given the gap between your neck and the top you're wearing, this is an excellent time to display your jewellery if you want to wear a strapless top right now. You can add a medium Belcher chain to your outfit to keep it looking stylish and new.

Pearl chokers and diamond chokers can stand out when worn with strapless dresses. Another choice is necklaces with a focal design to maintain the grace and elegance of a strapless dress or top.

With a round collar blouse

With a choker, you can style your round-neck blouse. Depending on the design it may be made of diamond, pearl, or gold, and you'll be sure to make an impression with how you look.

Multiple necklaces can look good, but choose ones with varied finishes and lengths. Or necklaces with large statement pieces if you want a bold look.

V-neckline

With your V-necked dress or top, you could wear a triangular V-shaped necklace that stops just above the neckline. Additionally, this draws emphasis to your décolletage.

Unquestionably, shirts or blouses with a V-shaped neckline give an elegant look. They are a flattering cut for most people and they help lengthen shorter necks.

Large-sized necklaces will often be too bold and make you forget the V cut's subtlety and elegance but sometimes it's fun to wear a bold necklace.

A halterneck

Big extravagant necklaces do not fit well with this style on the neck. Wear smaller necklaces with delicate finishes with this kind of clothing.

Another alternative would be necklaces with accents, such as stones in the centre, which are neither too dazzling or large with embellishments to appear graceful.

Asymmetrical Necklines

Wear a necklace with its own asymmetry. You can wear any sized pendant as long it is in proportion to your neckline. The asymmetrical appearance is enhanced with necklaces that feature beads of various shapes. Wear a choker if you want to be on the safe side.

Turtleneck or polo

Turtlenecks shouldn't be worn with chokers as the jewellery will be hidden beneath. Necklaces of medium to long length go well with turtlenecks. Turtlenecks work particularly well with opera chains and can distract from your neck's prominence. You are welcome to select a statement piece pendant that is large.

Avoid leaving too much gap between your neckline and neck to draw attention to your necklaces when wearing high-neck polo shirts, just like with halter tops. A straightforward gold or silver chain is an unfussy look that is classic and never goes out of fashion.

Another alternative is to wear a turtleneck or polo next with a long necklace which can be a flattering look and can add to the glamour of the outfit.

Summary

I hope this guide has helped you match your clothes to your necklaces and pendants.

Choosing the right necklace to wear can be challenging when every garment has a unique neckline. I hope this has been an informative and helpful guide on picking the appropriate necklaces for your outfits.

Top Tips For A Romantic Winter Getaway

Keeping the flames of romance alive in a relationship is something we all strive to do, even if we’ve been together for decades. But doing so at home where there is always “something to do” is easier said than done. That’s why many of us still swear by the romantic getaway.

romantic couple

Now that the winter months are upon us and the nights are getting longer, the time is arguably ideal for a little romance. But if you’re planning a romantic holiday in the next few months, here are a few tips to start those embers burning.

Plan ahead

To avoid last-minute chaos, plan the getaway as far in advance as possible. This means sorting out babysitting for the kids and the pets, booking flights (we know how unpredictable they can be right now) and ensuring that everything is ok at work. You might be able to get a slightly better deal if you leave it to the last minute, but it could also leave you in a world of immense stress.

Pick a peaceful location

There’s nothing wrong with booking a romantic trip to Disneyland if that’s your bag but, let’s be honest, what you really want is to just chill out with a few glasses of wine and the stars. Right? Check out caravans and holiday homes in UK holiday locations like North Wales with lots of beautiful nature.

Go to a fancy restaurant

Not everyone is a born foodie, but we can all appreciate the joys of decadent food. Of course, for you that could mean a greasy burger and a few beers but there is an undeniable “extra something” about Michelin-star dining that makes everything feel so much more elevated and, yes, romantic.

Don’t talk about reality

Talking about something like finance can take you right back to reality so while you might not be able to completely forget about your issues at home, don’t talk about them. Try to shut off from your everyday troubles and just enjoy spending time together.

Hike up a mountain

I'm not joking here. Going for a hike with just the two of you can actually be an incredibly romantic experience, particularly if it ends up in a log cabin with a warm fire. You might even be lucky enough to catch a sunset or a sunrise together and there are few things in life as romantic as that. Just don’t forget to bring the first aid kit.

Plan a surprise!

Your other half might say they hate surprises but that’s probably just because they’ve never had a surprise they genuinely wanted. Try to save at least one major surprise to spring on your beloved towards the end of the getaway and you’ll be returning home from your romantic holiday on a promising note.

Save yourself time and elbow grease with these top home cleaning solutions.

UV Light Cleaners

This is a high-tech cleaning solution that is ready to revolutionise housework forever. Many cleaning professionals are amazed at their effectiveness and feel that they are going to change housework just like the vacuum cleaner did more than a hundred years ago.

This mobile UVC Light Cleaner from VIOA can cleanse both the air and surfaces of harmful bacteria, viruses, and germs. You can clean surfaces and the area around them with the touch of a button. This is perfect for homes with small children and will be great in larger settings too like schools and kitchens.

Robotic Vacuum Cleaners

These have been around for a while now but the humble robotic vacuum cleaner is due an upgrade. Now, thanks to better battery life and improved vacuuming tech, automated vacuums are becoming more practical and efficient.

They can now be remotely programmed from anywhere using apps, and can even interact with other smart devices in the home. Collision avoidance has gotten better too; robot vacuums rarely get stuck behind table legs and under sofas anymore.

Robotic Mops Have Arrived

Setting a robot vacuum cleaner loose in the house is a convenient way to sweep up debris on floors and carpets, but what about tough stains on kitchen and bathroom tiles? Do not worry, robot mops are now hitting the market and coming to a floorspace near you.

The best part about these robot mops is they can reach the tricky places that you struggle to clean. They are small enough to get under cabinets and the oven and deep clean the floors there, leaving you with a better and more comprehensive finish than you could have managed yourself.

Water Softeners Will Save You A Lot Of Work

If your home suffers from limescale build-up around taps, shower heads and screens, watermarks on surfaces and glassware, you're undoubtedly in a hard water area. You've probably spent countless hours scrubbing, scraping and descaling to remove the unsightly crust from your home and it can feel like a losing battle.

The scale and marks left behind are caused by the minerals in hard water as it evaporates, commonly known as limescale. Many people don't realise the cause or that there's a simple solution. To free you of this burden, all you need is a water softener to remove these minerals. A limescale-free home will save you time cleaning and money on costly descaling products.

Robot Window Cleaners

Finding and keeping a regular window cleaner has become a big problem lately. It is a dying art form, with too few young people willing to pick up a ladder and a squeegee. Luckily, just like for vacuuming and mopping, robots are here to help.

Robotic window cleaners use suction power to stick to your windows and clean them thoroughly, inside and out. They do need some help switching between window panes, but that is a small price to pay for outsourcing this job.

These devices are here to help, at last. Switch from an old mop and bucket or dusty vacuum cleaner to one of these innovative ideas and you will save yourself time and have a cleaner home than ever before.
