Bloomin' Sexy is a website that sells the most exquisite undergarments made for comfort, luxury and style. Set up by Carol and Jill, these sassy ladies knew what they wanted to do - create a style of knickers that would be supremely comfortable on, and pretty whilst avoiding the 'thigh chafe' you can sometimes get when you wear a dress.

The idea came about when Carol was looking for something that was comfortable, feminine and sexy and couldn't find what she wanted online. She brought her idea to Jill who designed the knickers and the rest is history.

The garments are made with luxurious soft tulle, the finest French and German lace and Italian satin thigh panelling. The result is knickers that will gently conform to your natural body shape, with a stretch satin front panel and inner thigh panels that will eliminate the thigh rub a cotton gusset and that lovely lace.

What I love about these designs are they are so different to the shape knickers of old. They don't pull you in, they just fit you perfectly while providing gentle support.

As you can see the products are super cute, luxurious and feel lovely on. They also promise not to roll up or down, well unless you have someone doing it for you! Most styles are available in size 12 to 30 with some available from a size 8.

The ideas behind the business of Bloomin’ Sexy.

Having a curvy figure, and having never had the illusive “thigh gap”, Carol had

worked in the NHS on a steady career path for almost forty years. She liked to wear

dresses and skirts, but invariably ended up in trousers for comfort. Not a problem

during the winter, but during hot summer days the solution was to wear leggings

underneath dresses. She didn’t feel feminine and sexy wearing them so the concept

of making something that was both comfortable but still looked pretty, was born.

Carol then turned to her ace designer and dressmaker friend Jill to make the idea

into an actual garment. Jill immediately grasped what was needed and sketched out

the very first drafts for what has since evolved into our Classic and Vintage designs.

Together they have formed the Bloomin’ Sexy company

The attention to detail is great too, with little touches like lace inserts.

The company like to use suppliers that are eco-friendly too and their satin supplier uses recycled polyester from plastic bottles or Ingeo® a biodegradable fibre which is a product made from corn. All manufacturing is done in the EU too so you know that the environmental and working conditions of the workers will be excellent as well.
