Christmas is coming and now is the perfect time to spruce up your living room before the festivities start. Here are my ideas for a cosy living room inspiration for the holiday season.
Firstly pick a sofa that will be comfy as well as long lasting.
Infinity three seater sofa £1325 Fishpools
This three seater infinity sofa by Fishpools, has wide arms, deep cushions and is made for comfort. The sofa has that luxury feel and plushness that is just what you need to sink into after a hard day. The frame is made of solid hardwood timber and with a ten-year guarantee, you can see this is a quality item. I've also picked this sofa as I think the light grey colour looks sophisticated and is fairly neutral but if you like the design but not the colour there are 13 other colourways. This also comes as a corner sofa, as well as a two and four seaters with matching chairs.
Secondly, pick some accessories to add some Winter warmth and extra glamour.
Glitter scene cushion £16 Next
I've picked this cushion from Next as it reminds me of skating in Central Park in New York. A wintery scene there is a tiny sparkle on the cushion that twinkles in the light.
Karina cushion £15 Fishpools
This velvet cushion by Fishpools has a floral embossed design, which is oh so pretty and very 'touchy feely'. Even though it's slightly girly most men won't take offence to it due to the colour.
Large twinkling lights deer canvas £45 Next
This deer canvas wall art from Next adds some subtle lighting to your living room due to the sparkling lights. The beautiful snow scene set in the woods almost transports you to your childhood and the fantasy world of Narnia.
Albaca floor lamp £59.95 Dunelm
This large circular shade floor light had a curved chrome stem and is made of a natural abaca material. Did you know abaca is a plant related to the banana? Neither did I!
All you need to add to the cosy scene is a warm throw, much-loved friends and family, some mulled wine and a Christmas film - A Wonderful Life, anyone?
Wow! I love EVERYTHING! Especially the cushion and canvas! NEXT have such a lovely selection in at the moment. I really love the floor lamp, too! So unique. xx

ReplyDeleteI love those cushions!! Next are always great for Christmas home stuff. Plus they do the most amazing festive candles which I can't refuse.
ReplyDeleteMy husband loves different lighting to create certain moods and candles are a lovely addition to a lounge (just be sure that they are safe).

Ooh I love the idea of cushions to make it Christmassy without going full on glittertastic
ReplyDeleteThat's the idea :)

ReplyDeleteThis edit is beautiful, and really cosy too. Even though grey isn't traditionally a 'warm' colour it all comes together here to look really snuggly. The sofa is divine, and I really love the deer print from Next. x
ReplyDeleteYes as you say even though grey isn't a traditional colour you associate with warmth, I think it does look cosy with all the lovely soft and snuggly fabrics.
DeleteOh I love the sofa, it looks super comfy! The floor lamp is lovely too, really unusual :)
