In 21st century Britain, we all have busy lives. Juggling the kids, work, and looking after a home we rely on our labor saving devices. So, it’s hard to imagine how we would manage if we didn’t have the ‘luxury’ of our kitchen appliances, for example. Normally, in households all across the land, the comfortable domestic system works, stress-free; washing in the machine, food in the fridge, dishes in the dishwasher, etc, until something goes wrong. You realise that the washing machine has gone kaput and started making up its own cycles and suddenly your beloved capsule wardrobe wouldn’t fit a hobbit.

Or, usually at the height of summer, the fridge decides to try out life as a slow cooker instead, and you’re left with nothing but cottage cheese for your morning coffee. That’s not even the worst part. Trying to replace these fabulous little time-savers with human effort can suddenly make you realise that you should have appreciated them a little more while you had the chance. There is nothing, worse than sitting in the laundrette, observing your smalls whirling round and round, whilst wondering why more people don’t have washing machines on Eastenders and kicking yourself for not having that back up emergency saving pot.
Fortunately, Vivus has the answer, a company providing short term loans, so that you can avoid the time and costs associated with losing a household appliance. If you can replace your fridge within 24 hours, you could save the food inside it. The sooner you get your washing machine back, the sooner you stop paying out for the petrol and charges for visiting the launderette. With Vivus, there are no hidden fees, and you will get a decision straight away, so you may even get to the shops before they close. A recent survey by Which magazine highlighted the fact that payday loans are cheaper than unauthorised overdrafts too.
At Vivus there are real, live people in their contact centre so you can get your questions answered before you commit. Your life will soon be restored to a stress-free one and on payday you just pay them back, simple.

It's good to know that there are options like this for when life happens and things break.
ReplyDeleteIt is reassuring if you have to get a loan in an emergency.
DeleteIt's really good to know that there are companies out there happy to help when things go pear shaped. Very reassuring.
ReplyDeleteThe washing machine breaking down is the worst, we really don't realise how much we rely on them until they go wrong!
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly true Lucy.
DeleteOur washing machine broke when my youngest was about 3 months old! It was a nightmare as we were using re-usable nappies and had no way of cleaning them properly plus having loads of extra laundry. We ended up taking out insurance that would cover the repairs but lesson learnt - took about 2-3 months to get fixed!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, what a nightmare for you Laura.
DeleteNeither has happened to me yet but I'm dreading the day! It's inevitably going to happen when I need them most!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Hannah!
DeleteNo it hasn't really broken down but i am scared to think of what may happen if it does.
ReplyDeleteoh gosh, I;m literally counting down the days until payday now and worry something unexpected will come up.
ReplyDeleteMy washing machine broke once the day before I went on holiday which was a total nightmare. We had to go away knowing that we were going to be coming back to a pile full of dirty washing and no washing machine to use! Thankfully my father in law offered the services of his washing machine, but it is good to know that there are other options out there for the future
ReplyDeleteWhat a nightmare Christina! Lucky you had your father-in-law to help out. I always hate the washing after a holiday.
