Now that spring is around the corner it means it is almost time for the BBC Good Food Show Spring. I went many years ago when the show was in London and I was delighted to get a photograph with James Martin and Anthony Worrel-Thomson. It's a great day out.

The BBC Good Food Show Spring will run at the Harrogate International Centre from 10 - 12 April 2015 and last year was well attended by over 15,000 visitors.

It's the place to explore the food from over 140 culinary exhibitors including small artisan producers and big name brands, like the Producers’ Village, Delicious Yorkshire, Bursary Award Winners, Cakes Village and BBC Good Food Champions. Lots of delicious seasonal food and drink to try, and with free samples as well as entertainment in the celebrity kitchens, it is a great day for the foodies amongst us.

Some of the cookery writers and chefs this year include The Hairy Bikers, Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, James Martin, John Torode, and Brian Turner. Cooking live in the large super theater, they will share recipes, hints and tips, and a few laughs along the way.

There will also be an interactive Interview Stage, where you can pose your questions to the chefs. Have you ever wondered how Mary avoids a soggy bottom, or which chef James Martin admires the most, then ask them?
