Jewellery Gifts For Christmas For That Someone Special

At this time of year I always dream of having that beautiful diamond gift at Christmas. One year I was very lucky and had some stunning princess cut earrings in a white gold surround. I think in these times of recession people still like to splash out on something special but it has to be value for money and of superb quality.

True Jewels are a company based in Birmingham, and with being members of the National Association of Goldsmith's you know they are a reputable company. They sell a range of 9ct, 18ct and platinum jewellery, set with diamonds and precious stones including blue topaz, amethyst, pink sapphire, and citrine.

And oh what festive delights they have on their website! I wonder if my husband will sneak a ring box into my stocking this year? Hint Hint... This is my little guide to perfect presents with a touch of class from True Jewels.

Blue Topaz Jewellery

Blue topaz is a popular affordable gemstone with a pale to mid blue colour. Topaz does in fact come in many colours but blue topaz appears to be the most popular and is very wearable. These blue topaz earrings below set with diamonds are classy and beautiful. The ring is a great price for something different and unique. Topaz is the birthstone of those born in November.

Pink Sapphire Jewellery

Pink sapphires have become more widely available since new deposits were found in Madagascar in the late 1990s. Another moderately priced gemstone pink sapphire wearers are vibrant like the stone and want to stand out from the crowd. You will certainly get noticed with these pink sapphire earrings. The pink sapphire pear shaped cocktail ring is perfect for those parties teamed with that little black dress. Sapphire is the birthstone for those born in September.

Diamond Jewellery

Diamond is the hardest and most expensive gemstone. Diamond jewellery is timeless and classic and never seems to date. Perfect for an engagement ring, it's popularity never seems to wane - after all as the song goes - diamonds are a girl's best friend! This diamond cross is an investment piece - simple and classic it is a piece of jewellery that will be treasured forever. The engagement ring has a pretty design and you know it will be cherished. The heart earrings are my personal favourite, something you can wear time and time again.

  1. OOOoooh I haven't received jewellery in the longest time! The perils of being with the same man for 25 years. He bought me LOTS in the early years.

    1. You don't have to be a slave to your birthstone, just wear beautiful jewellery you love.

  8. I adore the blue Topaz and pink sapphire. I am not sure I could pick a favourite piece of jewellery. I love my brooches, my wedding rings and a cross that belonged to my granddad.

    1. That is very unusual. You would be perfect for platinum then as it is said to be hypoallergenic as most platinum is at least 95 per cent pure.
